Cu-Avana has become well-known for their quality cigars at affordable prices. The company has recently put out some spectacular offerings and innovations.
Unfortunately, the Cu-Avana Connecticut may not be up to par with their best and brightest smokes.
The draw is tight throughout and often threatens to extinguish. There is a tendency toward unraveling. By the end of the cigar, there was little wrapper left.
The good news is that this ‘gar offers a strong finish and a taste ‘punch’ at the end. The burn is consistent- not too fast and not too slow. This cigar is sweet but not overpowering.
Bottom line, I would recommend trying this stick out and maybe having a few on hand for a rainy day, but I would not seek it out, or spend too much time and money on it.
