REVIEW: Drew Estate Java

The Drew Estate Java Latte Wafe is a fun, novelty cigar.

It’s the thickness of two sticks of gum stacked on top of each other, and the length of two sticks of gum laid end to end. What I mean to say is… the stick is flat! As this is not your ‘typical’ round cigar, you will need to be mindful to ash often.

The initial flavor is full-on spice, however a smooth sweetness soon follows. The result is a light and brief experience, with a taste which lingers long after you’ve laid the ‘gar to rest. The ensuing mocha aroma is most pleasant. I smoke a pipe in the winter months, and this offers a nice ‘transition.’

In the end, this cigar is a fine change of pace, while still delivering the smoking ambiance of its full-sized colleagues.

Well done.
