The Quesada Tributo Alvarito corona is what I like to call a ‘give-and-take’ cigar.
A pre-light puff reveals notes of leather, earth and red wine. The burn is slow and the aroma pleasant, but there are some issues to be aware of in this smoke.
The construction is a bit tight and there is a tendency for burn issues. The burn is quite hot throughout. While it does pack a punch, it takes quite a long time for this stick to mature.
While I don’t see a repeat of this cigar, it was a fine smoke and certainly worth a try by any tobacco enthusiast.
