A cargo container filled with hand-rolled cigars has been stolen in South Florida. Miami-Dade police have located the truck, but not the smokes. Now, the FBI is investigating the heist.
Officials are concerned the cigars will be sold on the black market. They urge anyone who notices unusually-low cigar prices in South Florida to be aware they may be purchasing stolen goods.
Meanwhile, cigar manufacturer A. Fuente says the company’s loss will drastically and negatively affect future sales and production.
