Though I had high hopes for this cigar, they were, sadly, dashed shortly after lighting the Diesel Shorty.
This stick offers an initial spice that soon mellows into notes of earth and chocolate. It does have a nice taste throughout. Unfortunately, that’s where the pleasant features end.
The unraveling began almost instantly and I had to relight twice. The burn was uneven and the draw was tight.
I do think the concept for this ‘gar is a novel one, even if it won’t find another place in my humidor.
